Silver Winner at the 2021 Virtual Cheese Awards! Our traditional Shropshire Blue is made at Hartington Creamery using locally sourced, Derbyshire pasteurised milk. This beautiful cheese has an orange colour due to the natural annatto colouring we add into it, with contrasting deep blue veining. This has a natural rind and matures for around 10–12 weeks, producing a soft textured creamy cheese with a mild blue and tangy flavour.
A great cheese to crumble into salads, eat with figs and fruit and enjoy with port and red wines.
